He earns money while he creates a positive impact on the environment.
It’s estimated that one billion waste tires are generated every year worldwide, and remain in our planet forever. That’s why this 22-year-old Brazilian guy came up with an innovative business idea that has caught the attention of many.
Amarildo Silva lives in Paraiba, Brazil. In his free time, he collects and transform discarded tires into beautiful beds for dogs and cats.
According to Nation, he has already sold more than 500 units, and he has also received orders from Europe and Asia. “I can’t sell them everywhere because I don’t have the appropriate structures to sell them out of the country, but I’ve got many orders from all over Brazil, and even from many other countries in America, Europe, and Asia.” Silva claimed.
Even though he works as a cashier in a store, this doesn’t stop him from following his passion for arts and crafts. That’s why whenever he has some free time, he collects old tires and makes new products.
Apart from creating animal beds, Amiraldo makes recycling containers, trash cans, and other products.
But, where did the idea come from? He wanted to make some extra money by reusing waste, and this way he could save the cost of the materials and help the environment.
What began as a simple business idea, has slowly evolved into a positive initiative for everybody to raise awareness about the amount of waste we produce.
