“A friend of mine who’s married told me that her mother-in-law bought matching pjs for all the kids except the one who doesn’t belong to her son. Is she wrong?”, this was the story shared by a Facebook page. She excluded him.
December is a month known for enjoying the holidays with the family. Christmas and New Year are times when loved ones gather, dine together, enjoy time with one another, and celebrate being together, ready to face the year ahead.
However, some families don’t seem to fully understand the spirit of the season. One revolting case that went recently viral on social media is that of a grandmother who decided to buy Christmas pjs for all her grandchildren, except the step-brother of the group, who was only the wife’s son.
This story was shared on the social network Facebook by the page Spotted: Brierley Hill and local, where they told how this mother-in-law acted toward the boy, despite being part of the family. Along with the story, they also published a photo showing all the children in their pjs except the woman’s son.
“Some people are just heartless! A friend of mine who’s married told me that her mother-in-law bought matching pjs for all the kids except the one that doesn’t belong to her son. Is she wrong?”. The post soon went viral and received many comments rejecting the lady’s action.
User Tracey Herd, for example, commented that it was repudiatory to act because, in the end, they are all siblings. “That’s a horrible thing to do. Your friend needs to speak up and let her know that this behavior is unacceptable and will not be tolerated. Unfortunately, she sent the wrong message by allowing them to wear them and then taking a picture,” he said.
Many criticized the family for allowing the photo to be taken of them all together, including the little boy without pjs. That post already has more than 500 reactions, 678 comments, and has been shared some 203 times.
