Felicity Kadlec has had boyfriends before, but she says none of them made her feel the way her plastic partner does. And she has no problem talking about her intimate life with “Kelly.”
When Felicity Kadlec was 13, she found a collection of terrifying dolls on a website and one doll in particular caught her eye. It was a zombie version complete with a disfigured mouth filled with blood. So she bought it.
When she turned 16, something different started happening with her toy: she started having romantic feelings for her. Felicity tried to deny it….
But when she turned 19, she could no longer hide her feelings: she’d fallen completely in love with her doll Kelly. And she planned on marrying her. She even tattooed her name on her arm, next to a heart.
The young woman from Massachusetts has had several boyfriends before this particular “relationship” but claims that none of them made her feel “like she does now”.
Many people dismiss their relationship and don’t understand it, but Felicity assured them that they have an “intimate relationship that is developing normally.”
She assures that they are intimate and that when she caresses her, she feels “safe” and a “genuine connection“. With romance in the air, they confirmed their love. “She is a part of me, and no one can change that,” she said to DailyMail.
She constantly receives criticism from her friends and family, who don’t allow her to take Kelly with her if they go out together. “I know there are some people who think I should be with a real human, but to me, Kelly is real,” the young woman said about the topic.
“If we go out to eat, she always has to stay inside the car because people stare at her, so we’ve never been able to go on a date in public,” she says. She then added that, “regardless of what other people think about our relationship, she makes me happy, and I love her, so that’s all that matters.”
Finally, her big plan came to fruition. Here they are at their wedding:
Felicity is dressed in white and her partner in black.
Everyone can judge the situation for themselves.
