A couple from Illinois, United States, became so angry after some guests, who had confirmed attendance, didn’t attend the wedding that they charged them the money in order to cover expenses related to the event, according to the New York Post.
Doug Simmons, 44, and his wife, Dedra McGee, 43, were disappointed with those who couldn’t make it to their wedding, so they sent them a bill for $240.

The expenses were related to the money the couple shelled out to host the dinner reception. In fact, the bill that reached those absent specified that it was held at the Royalton Negril Resort & Spa in Jamaica and that it cost $120 for each person.
The groom, Doug, posted a screenshot of the bill on his Facebook page and wrote: «Don’t be offended when I send this invoice to you. It’s gonna look something like this. I’ll send it via email and certified mail… just in case you say you didn’t get the email.»
