It turns out that the Rappi delivery boy decided to share the special moment when he received his degree and didn’t leave out the fact that it was the fruit of his work delivering food for the app.
Julio started out as a delivery boy for an eco-friendly errands initiative but was soon convinced to try working for food apps, so he hopped on a motorbike to start delivering.
As the young man details on Facebook, he spent a year and a half saving and working to finish paying for his studies and finally end up receiving his degree in Mechatronic Engineering from the Chiapas Polytechnic University.
“Nobody asked me, but I wanted to share this moment with you🥰. I have been a delivery boy for a year and a half. I started by cycling for an ecological errand initiative of a stranger who ended up being a friend. Later, I had the opportunity to run my own errands on a motorbike, and eventually, I decided to deliver for an app”, Julio began writing.
However, beyond telling his process, he wanted to thank the application for the job opportunity that it gave him: “Finally, today I have my degree in my possession, and I can move on to new projects and goals. I will always be grateful for the job as a delivery boy, because thanks to this, I have been able to generate income. Now, I look forward to what lies ahead.”
