That’s what Annika Von Holdt, an influencer from Denmark and best-selling author, discovered. Along with her professional success (she herself boasts of having written four bestselling mystery novels), Annika is well-liked by her fans because of her beautiful looks; even when considering that the author is well past her fifties.

Her age doesn’t seem to be any kind of problem for her fans, who went so far as to go almost crazy when the Dane decided she was sick of dyeing her hair.

It’s been a while now since she decided this, but she remembers the effects very well. In an interview with the Daily Star, Annika told what it was like to appear with her natural gray hair in public:
“My hair has never been prettier or more healthy than now. It’s rather shockingly silver and down to my waist, so people certainly notice. I get a lot of compliments for it. My hair is always a topic, no matter the event. Strangers stop me on the street, even grumpy airport security people stop to compliment my hair when I pass through airports.”

Annika has also noted that her striking appearance, particularly the gray hair, has also attracted some not so desirable attention. Many men send her pictures of their private parts through social media. She doesn’t enjoy this content but has learned to ignore it.
