«I would thank you to never come back to my restaurant,» Lee Skeet said in the message he sent to customers who disrespected Lily, his beloved waitress. The owner supported her by giving $1,350 (the table’s consumption) to his employee.

Going to a restaurant for dinner is, in most cases, a pleasant and enjoyable experience. However, working in a restaurant is often complicated by the fact that customers aren’t always respectful to those who serve them. That was Lily Griffith’s experience, an English waitress.

Lee Skeet is the chef and owner of Cora, a remaining restaurant in Cardiff, UK. The man is happy every time he receives new customers, but unfortunately, he lived a sad experience after a group of men were disrespectful and even touched Lily, his employee, without her consent.

The group that attended Cora spent an unprecedented $1,350 on dinner at the restaurant. However, Lee didn’t care about the money they spent when he learned of the humiliation his employee went through, so he banned that group of people forever, informing them of this via email.

The executive chef, as a way of showing the young waitress that she was really important to him, decided to refund all the money to his disrespectful customers to make them realize the mistake they made.

However, upon further reflection, Lee decided he didn’t want to return the money. Instead, he transferred the $1,350 directly into her bank account.

The chef wanted to share the distressing situation that his employee experienced through a post on Instagram so that internet users are aware of what waiters often go through. Within hours, both Lee and Lily received hundreds of messages of support.

A London law firm even decided to contact both of them to make a case against the customers and their mistreatment of the waitress and take them to court.

Lee Skeet made a second post on social media to thank people for their love and to say once again that he was proud of his employee.
