Davi Lucca’s dance partners didn’t attend the preschool event, and he was the only one left alone. He was saddened and stopped dancing, but his mother didn’t want to just leave him like that and decided to join him so that his day wouldn’t be ruined. «He said I was the best dancer,» Tabata Tavares told G1.
The greatest support a child can have is that of his or her mother, especially in the most difficult moments. When they are younger, they strive to do their best in schoolwork because it is part of their development as well as to make their mothers proud of them.
This is also the case in kindergarten presentations. However, there may be some unforeseen events that cause disappointment and sadness in them, and that’s when maternal support becomes essential.

In a kindergarten in Bragança Paulista, São Paulo (Brazil), a preschool graduation took place and, to celebrate, they organized a choreographed dance, according to G1.
All the children dressed up for the occasion, among them Davi Lucca, 5 years old at the time, who practiced every step of the act to get it right that day. However, he didn’t expect that his dance partners wouldn’t show up and that he’d end up alone while everyone else had partners.

Davi tried not to let that detail affect him, but as could be seen in a video posted on Facebook by the boy’s father, he felt sadder and sadder until he stopped because he felt like crying. His mother Tabata Tavares, who was watching the act, didn’t want to leave him like that and decided to do something about it.
«I was in front of the stage encouraging him to go with his friends, to keep dancing, but he pouted, and I knew he was going to start crying. I asked the coordinator to go get him, and she brought him to me to comfort him,»the woman told G1.
So she went on stage to dance next to her little boy and fix the situation.

«I didn’t know any steps. I was looking at the children and imitating them. He still kept saying that we had to go faster or slower. When it was over, he gave me a smile that made it all worth it. I didn’t want it to be a bad day for him,» the mother told the media outlet.
The woman focused as best she could to do the steps perfectly and make Davi happy, which worked because he looked more cheerful at the end of the video.

Although the mother empathized with Davi and was able to get up on stage so he wouldn’t feel alone, her decision had some risk because it could’ve provoked the opposite effect. It’s likely that other children would’ve been embarrassed to have their mothers do this, but fortunately, this wasn’t the case. «He said I was the best dancer. He said I was the best dancer on stage, and that it was the best day of his life,» Tabata told G1.
