While it is common to talk about the effort that mothers make to take care of their children and offer them everything possible to make them comfortable, in some homes, it’s the father who assumes all the responsibilities when the mother figure isn’t present.
Although these are less frequent cases, it’s also worth highlighting what fathers do for their children when they have no one else to lean on, as was the case of this little boy from Bolivia.

During a Mother’s Day event on May 8, this little boy went to his school’s celebration with his father since he had no mother.
The photograph of the moment, where the boy ate with his father, became popular on the internet after illustrator Luigi Cabrera published it along with a drawing recreating the scene after another mother from the same school told him what had happened.
«Yesterday, at my daughter’s school celebration, she told me that she had a classmate who asked the teacher if he could take his father to the Mother’s Day celebration since he didn’t have a mother. The teacher was astonished and told her that of course, it was no problem,» the mother said, as Cabrera shared on her Instagram account.

This is how the sweet moment between this father and his little boy went viral on social media. What’s more, he wasn’t just any kid. The little boy has shown signs of leadership in class.
«This child is the president of his class, and I was personally filled with emotion to see how his father came to help him in his civic activities as well as organize the snacks for the celebration,» said the mother.
«After all the hustle and bustle, they sat down together to share lunch with all the mothers who were present,» she added.
