In Australia, Wendy Candlish, a 40-year-old mother of four, decided to change her life after a moment that deeply impacted her: one of her children’s school drawings portrayed her with “a stick and a big circle” as a belly, along with the message “it’s okay to be fat.”

Weighing 101 kilos and with unhealthy habits, she said it felt like “a slap in the face” that made her take action. In 2019, she started exercising, improved her diet, and left behind her unhealthy relationship with food.

Over time, she added weight training and consistency, achieving a physical and mental transformation that she now shares to inspire others.
