The young woman claimed it’s a “matter of math,” since if one of her children’s fathers were to die or leave, she’d still have several other men left.
Many women want to have a good number of children to build a large family, so the kids can keep each other company and understand what it’s like to have siblings. However, a young woman from Memphis, Tennessee, took her desire to a whole new level.
Her name is Phi, a woman who currently has 11 children—which in itself might be impressive—but there’s something even more striking: the children’s fathers are eight different men. This fact has led her to receive a lot of criticism, with people suggesting she’s doing it for money or because she doesn’t respect herself.
However, she ignores the nasty comments and even takes pride in having so many children by different men. As for why she made this curious life choice, Phi commented that it’s a “matter of math.”
“Let me explain. If you have one and take one away, you’re left with zero. But if you have eight and take three away, you still have five,” she said on her TikTok, after which she went on to explain it in greater detail, since many didn’t understand her words.
“If I only had one baby’s dad and he left or died, my kids wouldn’t have a father, but if I have eight and three of them left or died, my kids would still have five dads. It’s like, duh, everyone has to do the math,” she said with a laugh in a video.
In another clip, she even claimed that she doesn’t plan to “shut down the factory” anytime soon. “I want to have another 19, just so I can get to 30,” she said, though it’s quite likely that it was just a joke, since she later gave an “example” of how she finds the fathers of her babies.
Phi said she looks for them on Craigslist, Marketplace, or even posts ads on social media. “Nothing too extreme, you know,” the young woman concluded.
