This young Filipino man went on to become a successful person and repaid his adoptive parents for the help they gave him.
This devoted son will always be grateful to the parents who gave him everything they had when they were very poor. It wasn’t much, but he is grateful for it. Now that he has become very successful thanks to that small amount of help, he is returning the favor.
Jayvee Lazaro Badile II was a child adopted in the Philippines by a family that, though of limited financial means, had plenty of love. Nanay and Tatay, his parents, didn’t have much money, and almost everything went toward basic expenses, but they made sure to raise little Jayvee the best they could. The boy made a lifelong promise: if he ever became successful, he would help his parents. And that’s exactly what he did.
As he rose through the business world and amassed a great fortune, the young entrepreneur shared the story of his fulfilled promise on Facebook so that everyone could hear about his achievement.
“Mom is a saleswoman, Dad is a doorman. Now that I have the chance to give something back to them, I’ll make sure they live their dreams better than they could ever imagine,” he shared on Facebook, alongside a before-and-after photo of his parents.
“I was 3 months old when Nanay and Tatay adopted me. Life was very hard. I had to work while I was still a student, and we were just happy that Nanay could have two meals a day. On top of that, we lived in a 20-square-meter apartment.”

Now he has fulfilled his adoptive parents’ dream, and they all live comfortably as one big family. The devoted son built a 7-bedroom mansion filled with every luxury so they could live without a care in the world. He never forgot those who supported him unconditionally.
“I paid for the house in cash, and it was built in a year. It has seven bedrooms, and we didn’t bring anything from our previous place, except for the TV I bought for my family as a Christmas gift earlier,” he said.
And not only that, Jayvee also takes his parents on trips around the world whenever he can, because he tries to spend as much time as possible with them. This young man is the perfect example of resilience, humility, and gratitude.
He never knew that life could bring about such a drastic change and turn things around for the better. Now he enjoys everything he’s achieved, surrounded by the people he loves.
