At age 2, Anthony Miller could barely hold a red crayon.

The portraits he creates today, at 19, have so much detail that it’s hard to believe they aren’t photographs. Every line, every shadow, every skin texture seems calculated with surgical precision.
The “artistic progress” format has been circulating since 2023 and is almost a genre of its own on social media, but Anthony’s case breaks the usual curve. The distance between his first and latest drawing isn’t measured in improvement — it’s measured in years of silent practice, repeating the same gesture thousands of times until his hand stops hesitating.
