Nothing more disturbing than a survey that starts as a joke and ends up making you question humanity as a whole. 🐄😭 In 2017, a study by the Innovation Center for US Dairy asked American adults where chocolate milk comes from.

The correct answer, just in case, is: from regular white milk with cocoa added to it. But 7% of those surveyed answered, with total conviction, that it comes from brown cows. That, translated to the real population, is 23 million people. Adults. With the right to vote. “The survey was supposed to be fun”, the organizers said. And it was. Until it stopped being so. 👀

The most unsettling part? Another 48% admitted they had no idea where it comes from. So nearly half the country doesn’t know for sure either. The brown cow in the photo, meanwhile, has made no comment. Probably because it’s too busy being brown and producing absolutely no chocolate. 🍫
