Álvaro Risoglio is 26 years old and has a rule he enforces without exception at Voltra, his Argentine import company: no sugar or flour at work.
He explains it himself, without beating around the bush: he checks what his ten employees bring with them, and if he finds candy or bread, he throws it in the trash right then and there. The threat is direct: “anyone who brings sugar or flour does not receive their salary at the end of the month”, and according to what he explained on Mítico Podcast, no one has dared to question it.
To justify it, he compares the body to a car: if you put in the wrong fuel, it performs worse.
Risoglio claims that one of his employees lost 35 kilos since joining the company, and that the measure works as an incentive. What he did not clarify is whether he offers any alternative food, nor whether he has ever actually deducted an entire salary for a chocolate bar. What do you think of the measure?
