Mananya Limsatien is 40 years old and has had a nickname that has followed her since her debut: Belle.
In October 2024, she took the stage at IMPACT Arena in Pak Kret, Thailand, at 36 weeks pregnant. She danced, sang, and raised her arms as she had always done with Girly Berry, the group she formed in 2002.
When the video went viral in December, not everyone applauded. Some accused her of putting the baby at risk, of being too old to keep performing, of pushing herself too hard for an unforgiving industry. Her response was simple: she had medical clearance, and her husband supported her every step of the way. ‘The baby really loves music,’ she said. Thousands of fans came to her defense: a woman can shine at any stage of her life.
Three days later, her son was born healthy and without complications. 👏
