Paula Moguilevsky was 37 years old when, in 2023, she decided to freeze her eggs while thinking about the future. But during the procedure, she suffered a severe internal hemorrhage that rushed her to the operating room.
Months later, when she and her partner began trying for a child, a follow-up exam detected cervical cancer. From then on, she faced a long medical process involving MRI scans, PET scans, biopsies, and as many as 12 surgeries.
Today, at 41, the creator behind Puli Cocina finally announced the news she had been waiting years for: she will be Olivia’s mom. The baby is being carried by another woman in Georgia through surrogacy, a path Paula described as her last chance to fulfill her dream. ❤️
