57-year-old woman was called ‘ridiculous’ for posing in a bikini: “We become more beautiful with age”

It is common to see lots of young girls and boys on Instagram posing in bikinis and swimsuits and even underwear. What is out of the ordinary is seeing women considered older showing their bodies, but Paulina Porizkova loves showing off her physique on social media despite the criticism.

Paulina Porizkova is a former model and clearly still maintains a spectacular figure. The now 57-year-old woman often shows herself off in a swimsuit or sportswear with all the confidence in the world, displaying a spectacular and slender physique. Even so, internet users have on several occasions labeled her “ridiculous” because of her age.

In fact, the former model recently received a comment on a photograph in which she was seen posing in front of the mirror wearing a very flattering cream-toned bikini. But a user on Instagram called her “old and ugly”, in addition to telling her that she should not pose in a bikini because of her age.

Porizkova posted the same photo of herself in a swimsuit together with the comment she received, calling on other women to love themselves regardless of criticism and even less to focus on age, since being older does not imply ugliness for the former model.

“I think we become more beautiful with age. We have earned our beauty, we understand what it is and we can see it much better. There is no such thing as ‘ugly and old.’ There are only blind and ignorant people”.

The influencer went on to clarify that she was not giving the message so that others would feel sorry for her, but rather to empower the rest of the women who go through the same thing every day just because of their age, “I am posting this because this is a widespread feeling that needs to be eliminated. So we can be proud of aging, as we deserve!”, she said on Instagram.

Porizkova’s reflection was widely praised by her followers. “You are a strong woman for posting the same photograph they criticized without caring”, “The only ugly thing is degrading someone. You are beautiful”, “If this is ‘old’ and ‘ugly,’ then I want the same for myself”, are some of the comments the former model received.
