Toshisuke Kanazawa turned 90 one day before taking the stage again. And he didn’t just show up to participate: he was crowned champion once more. 💪

The Japanese bodybuilder won the over-85 category at the 38th Japanese Masters Championships, held on August 30 in Hiroshima. It was his 17th Masters title and the 19th Japanese championship of his career, also counting his two overall titles.

“Each year, more wrinkles appear and my strength declines, but making the effort to overcome that is my way of life”, he explained after competing. His next goal is to remain active until he is 93, and he continues joking—though with evident determination—about his great goal: to live to 130.

At 90, Kanazawa still has plans, competitions, and records ahead. 🏆
