Pauline Kana is 99 years old, known as “Gangster Granny”, and has just proven that age is just a number. Alongside her grandson Ross Smith, the grandmother dared to crowd surf during Brantley Gilbert’s concert in Bellville, Texas, in front of 20,000 people.

The moment was carefully prepared: Pauline was lifted onto a flat stretcher and secured with straps to guarantee her safety. The crowd, far from being frightened, chanted “Grandma, Grandma!” in unison as they slowly passed her above the rows of attendees. The feat quickly went viral on TikTok and Instagram.

Guinness World Records confirmed that Pauline, at the age of 99 years and 274 days, is the oldest person to crowd surf. “I did it! I’m the greatest of all time!”, the grandmother exclaimed upon receiving her official certificate, proving that an adventurous spirit has no expiration date.
