Erin Caffey was 16 when she decided her family had to die. On March 1, 2008, in Texas, her ex-boyfriend Charlie Wilkinson, 19, and his friend Charles Waid, 20, entered her home with guns and a katana while she waited outside in a car.

They killed the mother, nearly decapitating her in her bedroom. Her 13-year-old brother was shot in the face, and her 8-year-old brother was stabbed to death. They set the house on fire with everyone inside. Terry, the father, was shot five times and managed to crawl 300 meters through flames to get help.
