On October 30, 2025, they went into the historic Café Tortoni in Buenos Aires and ordered churros with hot chocolate. Harry had a severe peanut allergy, so they asked the staff, in English and Spanish, whether they contained nuts. According to Naomi’s testimony, the answer was a definitive no. When Harry began to have doubts, they asked again and received the same answer.

Minutes later, his lips swelled and he had difficulty breathing. Naomi ran for his EpiPen and administered it in his thigh while an ambulance was on its way. Harry died on November 7, 2025. His father and brother returned to the café to ask about peanuts: one waiter said he didn’t know, and another said no.

They took a churro to a laboratory, which detected 20 mg of peanut protein per kilo. The coroner concluded that the death was accidental.
