Piêtra Luccas boarded a United Airlines flight with Charlie, her 54-kilo Great Dane, registered as a service animal. She bought three full seats to give him room and avoid bothering anyone in the row.

The video went viral and split the internet in two. One group insists that no animal of that size should travel in the cabin, regardless of how much is paid. Another argues that if she bought the space and the dog behaved, no one has the right to complain.

There were no formal complaints or incidents during the flight. Does paying extra give you the right to bring any animal on board, or should there be a size limit regardless?
