At just six years old, Lian Yunzhi broke the women’s world record for solving the 3×3 Rubik’s Cube twice in just three days.

The young Chinese competitor first posted an average of 4,52 seconds at a tournament in Wuhan. Shortly afterward, in Guangzhou, she surpassed herself again and set a new record of 4,27 seconds. Both records were certified by the World Cube Association.

To achieve this, she had to complete five attempts, with the best and worst discarded. The average of the remaining three determined her new record. With just 0,25 seconds between the two results, Lian once again demonstrated her skill and set a new world record.
