It was early in the morning when a woman didn’t see a man coming up behind her and following her for half a block. He shoved her against the wall and pressed something sharp into her back: he didn’t want her money, but to carry out a twisted fantasy.
There was no one who could save her, or so he thought, because just a few meters away, a bus was approaching.
The driver saw the scene from a distance and stopped the vehicle without hesitation. He and three passengers got off, and within seconds, the attacker found himself surrounded by strangers staring him down. The man, who had been the threat moments before, simply let go of the woman and ran.
Fortunately, security cameras captured the moment, and that’s how the guy was identified, but the victim was unable to identify him in person. The investigation remains in the hands of the Women’s Defense Police Station, and thanks to the bravery of a driver and some passengers, a woman is alive.
