Tarzan swings between vines with Jane in his arms, and for years that image passed as a simple postcard of action and romance. But a cartoonist behind the CoveredGeekly account made a sketch that shattered the innocence of the moment: to hold on to the vine and carry Jane at the same time, Tarzan literally needs to grab her butt with his free hand.
The black-and-white sketch shows the actual posture from another angle, and there is no doubt about it: it is the only physically possible way to hold someone while hanging from a rope with one hand.
Disney’s animators solved it quite naturally in 1999, and no one noticed until someone drew it from the front. 😂
