Kuala Lumpur City Hall, through its Sanitation Unit in Titiwangsa, visited the restaurant to inspect the kitchen. They did not find an isolated case: they discovered more cockroaches inside a bottle of oil and hiding in the refrigerator door. Based on this evidence, they ordered the restaurant to close from August 26 to September 9 under the health regulations in force in the city. The establishment, until then one of the most visited in the shopping center, remained closed while it dealt with the infestation.
