A diver found a shark trapped in a rope and saved its life. That same day, he repeated the rescue with a second shark

Several meters below the surface, an abandoned rope had trapped a shark.

Emilio Mignoli approached slowly, his tank on his back and his air ticking away. An animal that size, trapped and frightened, is not easy to rescue: one sudden movement can end in a bite or even more tangles. Even so, the diver kept loosening the rope until the shark was free and disappeared into the open sea.

What happened next is what makes this story almost impossible to believe. According to the diver himself, that same day he rescued a second shark trapped in the same way. Two animals, two ropes, a single day of diving.

While the sea continues to accumulate lost ropes and nets, someone is going down with a knife and patience to undo the damage. How many more are there that no one ever gets to see?
