Alexander Aslani was 57 years old and had already finished several operations that Wednesday when a man with his face covered entered his Marbella clinic. There were patients inside. The attacker didn’t stop anywhere; he went straight to the surgeon’s office.

Aslani had founded Cirumed in 2018 and was known for his buttock procedures, with patients from several countries. Emergency responders arrived, but they could no longer save him. The attacker escaped by motorcycle along a little-used, poorly lit road, avoiding the main highway.
Less than 24 hours later, police arrested an 18-year-old Swedish man. According to El Español, they found him in an Airbnb in Benalmádena, with almost everything ready for him to leave Spain. Officers believe he acted on someone else’s orders and have not ruled out further arrests.

The theory being considered, according to police sources, points to a patient who was demanding a refund for an operation. It has not yet been confirmed. And the question remains open: who paid for an 18-year-old to cross a country and commit a crime like this?
