A user mocked the face of the scientist who discovered the cure for pancreatic cancer — and social media humiliated her

Antonella wrote seven words that cost her dearly: ‘Why doesn’t he look for a cure for the problem he has on his face’. The target was a scientist who had just announced a historic breakthrough against pancreatic cancer, one of the deadliest tumors in the world. Instead of recognizing the achievement, she chose to mock the visible marks on his face. The tweet, published on January 29, had barely 21 views when someone captured it and exposed it. The account @_constitucion78 shared it and the response was immediate and brutal: thousands of people reacted with a mix of disbelief and fury. Attacking the appearance of a man who dedicated his life to saving other lives is not an opinion — it is cruelty disguised as wit. And justice? Sometimes it arrives on its own, in the form of 21 views turned into millions of witnesses, and comments against the user: “Antonella, what a shame your father didn’t use a condom”, was the mildest thing they wrote to her.
