A grandmother in the United States threw her dog a birthday party right in the middle of a park. She brought cake, sang “Las Mañanitas” to him, and put together the whole ritual as if it were a human celebration.
But the dog paid no attention to the cake. He sat in front of her and did not take his eyes off her face for even a second, as if nothing else in the world existed. Not even the smell of food could distract him from that total attention toward his owner.
A person passing by recorded the scene and uploaded it to Instagram from the account Splicakay, with a phrase that sums it all up: “We don’t deserve dogs”. The video has already surpassed 10 million views, and it’s not hard to understand why: that look says more than any celebration.
