A group of young people threw trash into the sea from their yacht, they were caught on camera in the act and social media was outraged: “They have money but no education”

Two teenagers went viral for throwing trash from a yacht in Florida, United States. The uproar over the video caused such outrage that, thanks to it, the 15- and 16-year-olds were formally charged with a felony. 

The footage clearly shows the teenagers throwing trash on Boca Raton beach, in the middle of a boat festival. A drone captured the events, which were quickly spread online.

With their backs against the wall, the same boys in the video decided to turn themselves in to the authorities, and the families issued a statement apologizing. The charges were for causing pollution with the intent to harm human, animal, plant, or aquatic life, according to the Florida Fish and Wildlife Conservation Commission. 

Thanks to technology, there is no impunity for these acts 👏
