Hens are naturally good at scratching around. Their beaks let them pick up tiny bugs without much effort, and that’s exactly what helped her dog brother this time.
The poor furry guy had no choice but to stay still and let the bird peck at him in search of fleas, so in no time he was all taken care of with little effort.
Obviously, the scene still leaves us with mixed feelings. On the one hand, it’s sweet to see that the hen trusts the dog and the human enough to approach them; on the other, it’s hilarious how reality is stranger than fiction in situations where country life calls for quick and clever solutions. 🐔
