Ferran Torres, FC Barcelona forward, reached the elite of football without forgetting where he came from.
In his own home, he designed exclusive spaces for dogs: rest areas, places to run, corners designed so that his pets can live as what they are, part of the family.
It all began long before fame. As a child, Ferran had a dog named Rex. When he died, he and his sister tattooed his name so they would never forget him.
That loss forged a commitment that he now upholds through actions: since 2021, he has been an ambassador for Wild at Heart Foundation, an organization that rescues stray dogs in different parts of the world and estimates that there are up to 600 million homeless dogs on the planet.
Today he shares his life with Minnie, an Andalusian podenco, and Lluna, a Czechoslovakian wolfdog, both rescued. “You can have millions and trophies, but what Ferran shows is that the true victory lies in not forgetting those who have no voice.” 🐾❤️
