A highway in Santiago de Chile ended up covered in cakes and sweets after a robbery attempt ended in an accident.

A delivery truck carrying bakery products was traveling along Vespucio Norte, near the Chilean capital’s airport, when criminals tried to intercept it. The driver managed to evade them, but lost control and crashed into a crash barrier.
The impact opened part of the cargo and left boxes, cakes, pastries, and other sweets scattered over several meters of the highway, creating a scene as chaotic as it was unusual.

Fortunately, no one was injured. Emergency crews had to restrict part of the highway while they removed the products and cleared the road.
