25 kilos of pure gold. That is the exact weight of Lionel Messi’s left foot, recreated in a 24-karat sculpture by the Japanese jewelry company Ginza Tanaka, founded in 1892.

The Telegraph

The price of this unique piece reaches $5.3 million, and it is not the only option for anyone who wants a golden piece of the Argentine star. There is also a gold footprint for $95,000 and a mini version, half the size, for $42,000. Ginza Tanaka uses a sliding pricing method, where the final value is recalculated every day according to the price of gold.

What makes this story even more unusual is its destination. Part of the profits will go to Messi’s foundation, which supports children in areas of Japan hit by the natural disasters of 2011. A work of extreme luxury with a purpose few would see coming. 🥇⚽️
