Todaraisingh, India, Monday, July 20. A leopard emerged from the nearby vegetation, and the first thing it did was attack a forest volunteer who was investigating its presence in the area.
Minutes later, the animal was already inside a beverage store, knocking over bottles and boxes in the aisles. There it attacked two more employees. One of them, a 25-year-old salesperson, managed something that seems straight out of a movie: escape the premises and close the door with the leopard inside.
A rescue team arrived hours later and, after an operation that lasted about 5 hours, managed to capture it without anyone losing their life. The three victims were hospitalized; one has already been discharged.
