A man decided that his bald head couldn’t go unprotected on outdoor outings, so he came up with the least conventional solution: getting his head tattooed.
The original idea came from his own son, and tattoo artist Dan, from Hive Tattoo studio in Las Vegas, made it a reality. Then came the touch-up, and with it, an extra detail that was born from the public’s suggestions: adding a rupee, the currency from the Zelda video game, to complete the design.
The result left everyone happy, starting with the main man, who admits to having a somewhat biased opinion: he says this is his favorite tattoo out of all of Dan’s work. And the truth is, it’s hard not to agree with him when a son’s affection ends up written, literally, on his dad’s skin.
