A mom confessed on TikTok that she didn’t want to go to her son’s meeting with the teacher, and the internet tore her apart

Tatiana recorded a TikTok being completely honest: she didn’t want to go to her son’s parent-teacher conference. 😬 She didn’t say she wasn’t going to go — she said she was going, but she just didn’t feel like it. ‘Sorry if the teacher finds this, it’s not you, I swear, it’s me, I’m lazy,’ she blurted out with no filter. The internet came down on her like a ton of bricks. 🧱 They accused her of not caring about her son’s education, of causing him emotional harm, and there was even a separate, furious debate about whether the stay-at-home mom or the working dad should go. One teacher was blunt: ‘Your son wants you to go. I see high school students who are sad because their parents don’t care enough to go.’ Tatiana went to the meeting. She always planned to go. And what happened? Out of 15 minutes, only 2 were about the child’s actual performance. 🫠 Her own husband was left in shock by so much gossip and so few grades. Was all that judgment justified for expressing a feeling that millions of parents have but don’t dare say out loud?
