Mia Terrazas lived one door down from Hayden Panettiere’s apartment in West Hollywood.
At the end of August 2025, she noticed something unusual in the building’s hallway: a sign with Brian Hickerson’s photo and a specific instruction for residents: do not let him in and call 911 if they saw him nearby.
The warning lasted barely a week. The HOA removed it and told Terrazas that Hickerson no longer posed a threat.
She disagreed, tried to put the signs back up, and the association removed them again.
According to her testimony, she called 911 at least half a dozen times over disturbances coming from the actress’s apartment.
Hickerson had already been arrested in 2020 for hitting Panettiere in the face, a serious domestic violence case that ended with him in jail.
On August 16, 2026, Panettiere died at the age of 36 in an Airbnb in Greenville, South Carolina.
The person who found her unresponsive was Zach, Brian’s brother. Narcan was found at the scene, and the DEA joined an investigation that still has no answers.
