A baby’s first few weeks can be filled with doubts. The shape of their head, their features, the appearance they came into the world with, which doesn’t always match the image someone had dreamed of. Just look at the baby twelve months later to see that almost none of it has stayed the same.
According to the specialist, during the first year, the head takes shape, the face becomes more defined, and features change as the child grows. What caused concern yesterday can change naturally as they develop.
His message isn’t asking people to ignore warning signs, but to learn to distinguish what really requires medical attention from what is part of normal growth. And sometimes, he reminds us, it’s also time to stop worrying and simply enjoy your baby.
