An enormous vest and a photo on social media were enough to unleash the creativity of thousands of users.
“Would a milanesa sandwich fit?”, someone asked about the pockets. Another calculated how much “a hectare of vest” would cost. There was even someone who wanted to know if it came in black, because “it makes me look thinner”. The comments multiplied, and the garment from Kalorias, the Argentine store that sells plus-size and specialty-size clothing, became the viral moment of the day.

But behind the easy laughter lies a different story. The story of people who for years couldn’t find clothes in their size at any store. Kalorias says its garments offer real fits, designed so that every customer feels comfortable with their body just as it is. Is this an act of inclusion, or is it hiding something more alarming?
