Sixteen years later, on August 26, 2026, Axl Rose had to say goodbye to him. The Guns N’ Roses vocalist, that man who has filled entire stadiums with his voice, posted photos alongside his cat and wrote just six words that were enough to break hearts: “A son, a brother, a friend”.
It was not the first time Axl had experienced this pain. In 2021, he said goodbye to Dexter, another of his cats, at the age of 14. Today, Dijon still keeps him company, having turned 21 in July and continuing to be his faithful companion.
Days after the post was published, Axl thanked his fans for their affection and described Whiskey as a sweet soul who was an essential part of his life. 🐾
