On June 18, 2026, Venezuelan psychic Nancy Salcedo Deivis posted a video on social media with a warning: there would be a tremor in Caracas on June 24. Hardly anyone paid much attention. Six days later, at 18:04, Venezuela shook.

Two consecutive earthquakes — of magnitudes 7.2 and 7.5 — struck the country with an epicenter in Morón, Carabobo state, at less than 30 kilometers deep. The Venezuelan government declared a national state of emergency. Acting president Delcy Rodríguez confirmed 164 deaths. Entire areas of Caracas and La Guaira were left destroyed.

When people began to remember the video, they searched for it, shared it, and watched it millions of times within a few hours. Science offers no mechanism to explain how someone could predict the exact date of an earthquake of this magnitude six days in advance. That is, precisely, the question no one knows how to answer.
