Tae Levi Um pulled out the stopwatch at his cousin’s wedding in South Korea, and what he recorded went viral on TikTok: the entire ceremony lasted just 25 minutes. 🇰🇷⏱️

The vows and the parents’ words took about 10 minutes, the groom sang, and in less than a quarter of an hour the couple was already leaving. No endless speeches or hours of waiting: it all comes down to ‘pali pali,’ that Korean philosophy of doing things quickly that applies even on a couple’s most important day.

And the detail that surprises Latin Americans the most: as soon as they say “I do,” several guests head straight for the buffet instead of the dance floor. No party, no staying up all night, no endless expenses. Could you handle a 30-minute wedding, or do you prefer the usual marathon? 💍
