Holly Leeann Flores, 37, was arrested in Texas after being accused of attacking her husband and two young children with a knife in the early hours of October 6, 2026.
The 34-year-old man called 911 at around 4:20 a.m. and said his wife had stabbed him in the head. When police arrived at the home, they found a 3-year-old girl and a 10-month-old baby with stab wounds to the chest. All three survived.
Flores also had an injury and, after receiving medical attention, was taken to jail. She faces two counts of attempted capital murder and another count of aggravated assault with a deadly weapon.
But there was one detail that raised even more questions: police had already visited the same house about five times since March, mainly in response to calls related to the well-being of its residents. Authorities have yet to determine what prompted the attack.
