A woman claims she got pregnant through a video call: “This baby bump is yours, daddy. Take responsibility.”

Human imagination truly has no limits. Just look at the case of this Ecuadorian woman who posted a video on TikTok claiming that her husband, who lives in New York, had gotten her pregnant… through a video call.

According to the story, the man has been living in the Big Apple for the past two years and only communicates with his wife virtually. But for the woman, that was apparently enough explanation for her unexpected pregnancy.

In the viral video, the woman shows ultrasound images and, through tears, demands that her husband take responsibility for the baby, even though he obviously denied being the father. “This baby bump is yours, daddy. Take responsibility,” she says in the clip.


However, if you feel like something about this story doesn’t add up, you’re absolutely right. It turns out the woman was actually making a humorous and satirical parody of the situation, posting it online simply to attract attention and interactions. I knew something felt off about this case…
