The man who witnessed the scene was so moved that he decided to take out his phone and record what was happening. A small gesture that, if not for him, probably would have gone unnoticed. ❤️
It happened in August 2020, in San Bruno, California, United States, when a driver waiting at a traffic light saw an elderly woman trying to cross the street with the help of her cane.
Noticing that she was having trouble walking, the woman got out of her vehicle and went over to help her. Without rushing her, she accompanied her to the sidewalk and made sure she was safe before running back to her car.
A witness, moved by what he had just seen, decided to share the recording with journalist Dion Lim of the U.S. network ABC7, which later reported the story.
The identity of the driver was never revealed, but her gesture reached far beyond what she probably imagined. A stranger took a few minutes out of her day to help someone else and, without even meaning to, inspired everyone who saw the scene.
