39-year-old Sarah Bradley experienced an unexpected turn in her health after being involved in a car crash in March 2024.

While doctors in Somerset were carrying out routine MRI scans because of the accident, they detected a large cancerous mass in her brain. The patient, who worked as a security guard, was diagnosed with a grade 1 subependymoma, a rare type of tumor.

After initially choosing to keep it under observation, the seriousness of her condition led her to undergo successful surgery to remove the affected tissue. In January 2026, specialists confirmed that the cancer was gone, allowing her to resume her life despite suffering some visual aftereffects.
