Scott Wozniak just wanted to save a few dollars. 🕵️
The YouTuber, known as Scott the Woz for his video game channel with more than a million subscribers, bought a used iPhone on eBay on September 9, 2024. Nothing out of the ordinary, until he noticed that the previous owner had never reset the phone to factory settings: contacts, photos, and apps remained intact, as if the phone were still his.
When he started scrolling through the contacts out of curiosity, he came across a contact saved as “Jason Mamoa” (yes, misspelled and everything). He thought it was a coincidence, until he opened the gallery: there was the Aquaman and Game of Thrones actor posing in a relaxed manner and sticking his tongue out at the camera next to the phone’s mysterious former owner. 😂 Wozniak shared the photos on X, covering the number with his thumb, leaving one question hanging: did he work up the nerve to call?
